The Interview 2009 wins
prestigious broadcast award
On Saturday, August 7th, the Interview 2009 won a WAB Gold Award at the Western Association of Broadcasters Annual Meeting. The Gold Award was given for innovative and outstanding contribution in the area of community service.
This is a great honour for Rock Bridge and for our
Interview 2009 partner, 104.9 The Wolf.
The Western Association of Broadcasters (WAB) is an association of and for the independent radio and television stations of Western Canada. Its objective is to foster and promote the development of the art of broadcasting. To read more click here >>

RockBridge Realty and partners collectively partnered to raise funds for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. In the first week as part of the First Challenge the contestants raised over $8,500. During the Second Challenge The Interview contestants raised a total of $14,333 in donations and although the Third Challenge wasn't about fundraising, the teams raised a further $1,461. As part of the the Fourth Challenge the challengers raised $10,450 and in the Fifth Challenge, which was not directly related to fundraising, contestants raised $2,400. As part of the final week's challenge, the contestants had a target of between them exceeding the $50,000 fundraising goal for the Children's Hospital, and in the final week Kyla Dean raised $10,581 and Leslie Genoway raised $21,791 bringing the final sum raised to a whopping and highly appreciated $69,191.28!
